Illustrations for an article exploring the history and heritage of Trappist brewing. The setting draws on research into monastic architecture and the craft of brewing itself, grounding the imagery in real structures and process. From there, I allowed space for gentle exaggeration and small narrative moments to bring warmth and personality to the scene.
